An art form, as lively and joyful as acting, lives from the touch and the “being there”

At a time when facial expressions are restricted by masks, where there is no human contact possible and the curtains of the theaters in Münster are closed, I was able to meet ten actors, to capture this emptiness and silence, which was so evident on the stages this year.

My photo series, which was created during the fourth semester of my design studies, deals with the actors from Münster, who could no longer perform during Corona.

I tell their stories in a small kamishibai theater that I built myself.
